I don't get it

I don't understand how someone can take something that is supposed to be a happy time for somebody and completely TRASH it.

My ex, Oh there is so much I could say but won't, my ex found out we are expecting... And even though we have all remained friends he acted out in such a way that makes me see he was only out to destroy my marriage.

The day he found out he slashed his sisters tires, threw her phone in the dumpster and started acting like a complete psycho... Why??? Because he THOUGHT she knew I was pregnant and had been lying to him.

No one knew. I didn't even know! So why lash out? That is beyond ridiculous and obsurd.

I don't get it how he can be sooo selfish to ruin such a happy time for my family.

Happy Easter!

Im a little bitter to be in my office. On a Friday. The weekend of Easter.

I normally work from home on Fridays. But nope. Not this one. No, my boss decided i needed to work my one monthly Friday... THIS WEEKEND. Can you tell I am ticked? Not to mention here in Northern VA traffic is a horrible hot mess. It took me 2 1/2 hours to get home yesterday. Thats just disgusting.

Enough complaining... Happy Easter everyone!!

Last week i posted about my husbands job situation. I also posted that we thought God had answered our prayers about what to do... Well boy was I wrong. Today Mushys boss asked him to come and talk to her about his position and why he wanted to leave. He told her that the other company offered him a pay rate he couldn't resist.. She then counter offered him $8.00 more an hour than he is making with his current job. Which is $5.00 more than the other company offered... We are both so happy! God is sooo Good.

I'm not usually like this but...

I am in a quiet house with no one home and nothing to do. So I am making a post. A random one but a post none the less.

This weekend has been so quiet. Yesterday was so rainy and windy and stormy and chilly that we stayed home and watched lots of movies. Took a long and needed nap and made these delicious BLT's with avacado slices mmmmmmm

These were sooo beyond delicious, I am making another one for lunch today.

My sweet hubbs is out detailing his parents boat for them. It would cost them $1000 to ahve someone else come out and wash and wax the outside of the boat to get it prepped for the season. So my husband is doing it. Isn't he the sweetest? I think so. To boogey is out with his Aunt steph today spending the day with her. I think its good for him to have that time. As for me, what is it that I am doing? NADA. My husband brought me home this precious eco friendly coffee/tea travel mug and I am in heave with it. I recent really got hooked on tea and he remembered it when he saw this cup. I love you mushy!


So I am enjoying my peppermint tea, reading, and watching chickflicks all day as well as Girl meets gown.

Things I can't live without from day to day.

My Bare Minerals Mineral Veil. I love this stuff. It is literally the only make up I wear as far as foundation or powder. It keeps me Shine free all day.


Sue Devitt Eye intensifier pencil. It is the best eye liner I have ever used. So smooth and great for smudging for smokey eye.


I love EOS Lemon Drop lip balm. It is so smooth and tastes yummy.


Ok So I don't have this EVERY day but I do love it. So refreshing.


Some people can't live without coffee. I prefer peppermint tea. I get nauseated really easily and this tea ALWAYS gets rid of it for me. It also helps with my migraines. MMMM Lemon tea is yummy too.
